Down In Cutbank
This the most wonderful location that I wondered off the beaten path to paint! There were coyotes calling, far enough off in the distance I thought I would still stay on and paint. Then while I was getting to at my painting, there were thundering hoves coming straight at me through the heavily wooded Aspen forests! Making my heart race so fast I could hear it in my ears and feel it in my chest!
Entering into the open clearing were three beautiful rouge horses! My heart was now in a state of elation! They stayed there with me for a good 15 minutes, and then thundered off, not to be seen again. I will forever treasure this memory! And I’m happy to also share it with you.
